Punkalla Bridge is situated within Batemans Marine Park, an area designated as a sanctuary zone. The project had to address substantial environmental and design challenges. Key to the project’s success was the effective negotiation with major stakeholders like Marine Parks and Fisheries, which ensured the project could be managed effectively while respecting the sanctuary’s delicate balance.
