Prepare Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS)

We will analyse and discuss your project requirements to prepare your Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS), which may be required to support applications for developments, roadworks, work sites or special events such as street parades, fun runs and festivals.

Wondering what a Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) is? They are detailed plans showing the placement of signs, devices, and personnel used to manage and control traffic around a work site or special event. They may involve details on diversions, road closures, lane reductions, or the use of traffic controllers, among other elements. Traffic Guidance Scheme (TGS) is the new name for what used to be known as a Traffic Control Plan (TCP). This change in terminology came into effect in the latest version of the Guide to Traffic Control at Work Sites, which provides guidelines for all traffic control in New South Wales.

Prepare Traffic Management Plans (TMP)

Whether you need a simple or comprehensive Traffic Management Plan (TMP), we have got you covered. We will create a Traffic Management Plan (TMP) based specifically on your project or event requirements, making sure everything flows smoothly.

Wondering what a Traffic Management Plan (TMP) is? A Traffic Management Plan (TMP) outlines how traffic will be safely managed in and around a construction site, event, or other road disruption in New South Wales. A Traffic Management Plan (TMP) is designed to mitigate potential traffic related issues, enhance road safety, and minimise the impact on traffic flow and the broader transportation network. A Traffic Management Plan (TMP) will identify potential risks and conflicts associated with the road disruption and will outline clear procedures for managing those risks. These management procedures will be comprised of site and task specific Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS), and general direction on how the site and surrounding area should be managed throughout the life of the project or event, in respect to general traffic flow, emergency services access, and the construction or event traffic flow.

Review and Update of Traffic Guidance Schemes and Traffic Management Plans

Changes on site or outdated documents?

No worries! As your project or event evolves, or if any documents become outdated, we will be on hand to review and update your Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) and Traffic Management Plans (TMP). This way, we will ensure your documentation is always up to date and best suited to your specific site or event requirements.
